This is a great "video" - really a BBC TV program - Supersonic Dreams , now broadcast on You Tube.
It's 1 hour and 27min long --but worth the time-- this is one heck of a documentary.

The parallels to our collective journeys are remarkable

Is kinda depresing and inspiring at the same time, just when I feel that I'm done, this video showed me that even top racers in the world go through ups and down just like we do when we crash or brake parts. GOOD VIDEO!!!

Thanks for posting the Thrust SSC vid, Nic. Took me a few days to finally watch it but it was well worth the wait. It spurred me on to sign up for the Bloodhound SSC Supporters' Club - I'd always thought of Richard Noble as a bit of a twit but Andy Green is the King of Cool and they deserve all the support we Brits can give.
