Nice now i have 2 classes that i can compete in. plus i have a rig that can beat the current open wheel record by a long shot. unofficial it is running at almost 120 mph. thats before the next motor and esc i plan to put in. But i do have a questions about a couple of new classes.

In the open wheel electric can i run a custom chassis with a production body? cause i need a little different frame to fit my batteries lower i nthe chassis. and in the open wheel ic class. can i run any size motor's. cause i have a perfect engine in mind to use if i can run any size engine.

individual subject to the dispute.
The Event Officials shall make the final decision in regards to what is legal, safe or fair

ok so in the open wheel for nitro then i can run any fuel i choose or do i have to run the 30% that the isc supplies.

as for the open wheel electric i guess i will have to plan on where to put my batteries with out modding the chassis at all.

So when we make passes do we have to have our own timing system or does the isc have all of that?

Are the nitro and electric open wheels run together or seperate. if they run together i am not even able to compete with my nitro open wheel then.

Per the Production Class rules "Tires, gearing, exhaust, fuel are unrestricted."

All ISC sanctioned events use the offical ISC timing system which is a dual optical timing system consisting of two timing traps which will record two speed readings on each run eliminating the need for a back up run. Below are the official ISC rules on timing systems:

Straight line Competitions:
A minimum of 1 optical timing trap, with photos or video of sensor placement to provide
proof of an accurate ISC approved set up. The distance between the gates shall be
no less than 20 feet. The device must be approved by the ISC. In order to have a speed
recognized as official, it must have a “back-up” time recorded at the same event. If
dual speed traps are used for immediate backup, recorded speeds must be within 2%
of the faster run. If a single system is used, two passes are required but the required
backup is 3% of the faster speed. If recorded speeds are out of the scope of the
required backup, then the slower of the speeds will count as official.
The purpose of a back-up speed is to eliminate the chance for any unforeseen errors,
such as debris moving through the lights or other optical anomalies.

***It is suggested (but not required) that ALL runs be recorded on video***
Radar guns, GPS, Speedometers etc – Are Not allowed to be used as ISC official speed
measurement devices.

IC and Electric are seperate classes within one classe. i.e. Open wheel ic record, Open wheel electric record

nice atleast i have 2 classes to work with. now i just need to find the right engine and gearing for my electric open wheel then and get a nice nitro engine and high gearing for my nitro open wheel rig. hopeing to break triple digits when i am there.

so the open wheel ic class can run any size motor then?

Thank you for all you have done for this forum. New I am but I have been dreaming of the Bonneville black line for years.

Where can I find more info on official timing devices. ??

Thank you

The ISC uses two "TrackMate" infrared speed traps at all their events. Link

And Welcome to the ISC, where are you located?
